When There's Nothing to Say

You know, I've talked a lot here on the CS about the upsides and downsides of being a writer. After all this time, however, it occurs to me that I've neglected one of the most obvious downsides: there's only 24 hours in a given day and 7 days in a week, no matter how you try to overextend it!  As most of you familiar with the blog know, I've suddenly got a number of projects going at once. Unfortunately, the sad part of juggling all of them and trying to actually participate in my life is that something had to get back-burnered a bit over the last few weeks.  I took a few days away from the CS to continue hammering away on everything else, but strangely enough it actually worked out because, for the first time in almost a year, I found myself without anything to talk or rant about.  Guess it had to happen eventually.  So I'm assuming this is how the guys with the Viagra prescriptions feel, huh?

Moving on...

I thought that a good way to get things moving again would be to update everyone on the new projects and let you know what's coming in the future.

1) The sequel to By Design is well underway.  It's looking as if it will be a shorter book, probably novella length similar to Bounce.  The title of the book is Puddin', which you'll recognize as David's nickname.

2)  The co-author project with Brandon Stoops has hit a bit of a slowdown but I still think we should see publication in 2012.  Newbies, whatcha gonna do with 'em (just kiddin' B!).

3)  I've added some additional description notes to the coming soon section of the blog so you'll have a little more info on the upcoming titles and release dates.

4)  I'm also in the process of launching a second blog entitled The BigFellas Guide.  The blog will cater to the larger guys among us all, although everyone is welcome.  Stay tuned this week for the official launch notification and the web address.

5)  My action / thriller project is starting to take shape and I've also come up with a pretty interesting new idea for a sci-fi project that may be a great way to round out 2013.

Well, it's officially time to attempt to get some more work done.  Stay tuned!
